Research Assistant · Psycholinguist · Stuttgart, Germany
An enthusiastic early-career psycholinguist passionate about uncovering how people understand and produce language. Currently serving as a Student Assistant at the University of Stuttgart's Psycholinguistics and Cognitive Modeling department under Titus von der Malsburg, I'm pursuing my Master's in Theoretical and Empirical Linguistics—funded by the DAAD scholarship—with a focus on Arabic language processing, eye-tracking methodology, and sentence comprehension.
Before coming to Stuttgart, I completed my BA in English Language and Literature at Birzeit University (GPA 3.7/4.0, High Distinction), where I also served as a Teaching and Research Assistant and tutored undergraduate courses in semantics and syntax. My technical toolkit spans statistical analysis in R and Python, NLP and large language models, experimental design, and data visualization. Beyond the lab, I led the English Language Club as president and completed over 260 hours of community service—experiences that shaped my commitment to bridging research and real-world impact.
